AEV Front Bumper for Jeep Wrangler JK |
AEV is pleased to announce the release of two new versions of its popular stamped steel front bumper for the JK. The bumpers still have the same great looks and performance as the original, but now offer improved installation times, tire clearance for 37” tires, and both now start at a lower intial price point.
The Premium Bumper is visually nearly identical to the original, but now has the Winch Mount as an optional accessory.
The MILSPEC Bumper was developed for the J8 military program but is being offered to civilians as a no frills, hardcore off-road only bumper. It does not have crush cans, fog lamp mounting provisions and the Winch Mount, AEV Tow Loops (it’s designed to run a J8 style tow loop), Off Road Light Brackets, and Stainless Steel Mesh are all sold separately.
As with all AEV Bumpers, the construction is heavy guage steel and unlike other aftermarket products, has a unique triple stage coating process of E-coat, zinc-rich primer, and a top coat of durable textured black powder coating. Textured Black Touch Up Paint is also available.
AEV is also introducing a new Top Cover Plate for customers who run the bumper without a winch.

Note: The Bumper and Winch Mount design have both changed. The new Bumpers and new Winch Mount are not backwards compatible with our original Bumper and Winch Mount. The Skid Plate has not changed and will fit either the original or the new Bumpers.
