ARB Swing Away Wheel Carriers are designed to mount to the range of ARB Rear Bars for popular 4WD wagons. Constructed from the highest quality components, these versatile products enable the customer to further improve their vehicles with Longrange fuel tanks or LPG where the spare tyre must be relocated. ARB?s engineers have developed a slam-shut locking latch and handle that is so simple to operate even a child can use it. Like a car door handle the burst proof latch positively locks the carrier to the step yet requires a minimum of effort to open and close. A Heavy-duty gas strut is included to hold the carrier open and control its motion when closing or opening on a side slope or incline. On more severe angles the standard spring loaded locking pin holds the carrier open and prevents it from closing accidentally. ARB Swing Away Wheel Carriers are designed to fit all OEM alloy and steel wheel options and come supplied standard with wheel studs and nuts including a security nut and socket to prevent the theft of the wheel. The wheel mount also has provision for a padlock to secure the mount to the Swing Away Wheel Carrier. A numberplate bracket and light are supplied with each wheel carrier to comply with registration requirements.
