BDS 6.5” Long-Arm Suspension System for 96-98 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ |
BDS Suspension has released a 6.5” Long Arm kit for the 1996-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ. This system comes with a massive belly plate made from 1/4” steel that increases ground clearance as well as stiffens the uni-body. This is a true 4-Link system which offers increased control while off roading versus a lot of the radius arm systems on the market. There is no welding to the uni-body required. All 8 control arms are adjustable. The system also includes the BDS Ultimate front sway bar disconnects. An extreme drop pitman arm is included to match the steering angles with your new adjustable front track bar. Stainless steel front brake lines are included as well as a new steering stabilizer. Unlike many other long arm kits, the BDS system actually comes with a new rear sway bar to reduce body roll for on road performance. If you want a long arm system for your ZJ that performs off road as well as your daily driver, this is the system for you! The lower control arms are available with the standard lower arms or BDS Flex arms for the serious off roader.
Max recommended tire size with this kit is 33x12.50 on a 15x8 wheel w/ 4.5” backspacing.
ATTENTION:
1.) Slip yoke eliminator kit required and CV style rear driveshaft required.
2.) Will not work on vehicles equipped with NP249 transfer case.
3.) Frame bracket modification required.
4.) Will not work with manual transmission.
