Old Man Emu Nitrocharger shocks are designed, valved and tested by ARB, then manufactured in Australia exclusively for Old Man Emu.
If you’re not carrying any load in your vehicle and you want to keep your vehicle’s original springs then you’ll really benefit from a set of OME Nitrochargers specifically valve coded to the original springs.
On the other hand, if you’re fed up with a sagging rear every time you tow or load your vehicle, the pitching, the harsh ride or the lack of wheel travel off road you’ll seriously benefit from a set of Nitrochargers & OME springs that have been designed to complement each other.
Old Man Emu Nitrocharger shock absorbers start life as prototypes built by ARB and then specifically valved, and tested, and modified as necessary to suit individual & specific springs. In fact, the Nitrocharger shocks designed for fitment with Original Equipment (OE) springs are more often than not valved totally different to the Nitrochargers designed for fitment to OME springs.
This again emphasises our integrated philosophy where, because of inhouse development by ARB, shock absorbers are able to be designed and individually valve coded to work specifically with the matching spring. We cannot stress enough that this is what makes OME shock absorbers & our complete suspension systems better than anything else you can possibly experience in your four wheel drive.
Once designed & totally satisfied with the performance, we send the prototypes to Australia’s only shock absorber manufacturer.
