RP Films Carnage for the Con 2002 |
The Pirates of the Rubicon, The Tinbenders, The Sierra Rock Crawlers and The Rock Zombies got together on July 4, 2001 at the Little Sluice Box for a friendly competition to see who the baddest 4x4 Club was. Well the Pirates kicked some ass that day setting the stage for what would become an annual battle. They got together again on July 4, 2002 at Donner Ski Ranch in an organized event promoted by Calrocs. Of Course,we got all the action. All the procedes went towards the Save the Rubicon Fund to try and keep the Feds from closing the beloved Rubicon Trail. The U.R.J.B 4x4 Club took the place of The Zombies, and the other three clubs all returned to put on quite an exhibition. Watch drivers like Lance Clifford just floorin’ it up a ledge. H8Monday in a crushing double roll, Troy Muse endo over the top, Airbag with some real clean lines, and others try and prove their worth. The Tinbenders squeeked out a victory over the Pirates in 2002, but that should make 2003 that much better.
