Most folks add all sorts of high wattage off-road lights and, unless they’re desert racing, they end up not using them. Why? Because big lights tend to blind the person ahead or the spotter that’s trying to help out. Most off-road lights light up the ground well in front of the Jeep while doing little near the front tires where a spotter is trying to see. Our new NightCrawler? bumpers have mounting holes for inexpensive, easily replaced, lights to illuminate the ground right in front of the vehicle to aid in spotting and rock crawling at night.
What makes this bumper modular? It’s a bolt together assembly!
The basic bumper starts with a center section that includes a winch mount and mounting holes for your tow hooks. It’s also the only bumper available that includes mounting holes for your factory turn signals. This gives you a place to put your turn signals if you’ve crunched, cut, or replaced your fenders with tube style fenders.
Screw Clevis Plates can be added to each side of the center section whenever you like. These plates are 3/4” thick steel and allow you to use screw clevises, D-rings or whatever you like to call them. They also have slots that allow you to slide a tow strap through....AND they just plain look cool!
The bumper extensions make the bumper full width to protect your fenders and have NightLights? built in that put light right in front of your tires. The other nice thing about them is that if you do manage to mangle one, such as in an auto accident, you can replace just the piece you need instead of having to replace the entire bumper.
The other nice thing about this design is that you’ll be able to accessorize your bumper a piece at a time and change the look of your Jeep without having to buy a completely new bumper.
The center section is available in two models:
TJ-FBMP-SKD includes a small 1/4” thick steel skid plate (shown in red on our Rubicon)
TJ-FBMP-RCV includes a 2” receiver.
They both include the following features:
Built-in winch mount.
Turn Signal Mounts.
Laser cut and precision folded 3/16” and 1/4” thick steel construction.
Bolt-on installation with no drilling required.
