Change a CJs 2.6:1 stock ratio to a true, 4.0:1 low-range ratio. This low-range gear replacement kit benefits from the Dana 300?s strength and durability. It allows the Jeep® owner to enhance trail performance by maximizing their crawl ratio. Installation of this kit into your transfer case will increase your crawl ratio by 50 percent.
This kit is easy to install. There are no drive shaft changes, or special shift linkage required. The kit comes as a complete, five-gear design. It also comes complete with gaskets and seals. The kit includes a new shift rail with increased detent pockets to help prevent it from popping out of gear when using two low in twin stick applications. Special poppet spring shims are also included with this kit to help with twin-stick applications.
