18 MPG RIPP Supercharged JK

Posted on March 10th, 2009

Ever think that adding a RIPP supercharger to your JK would increase your fuel economy?

“I just made a trip to Baltimore and put 322 miles on my JK.  I averaged 17.35 MPG and was quite surprised as I saw the average climb on my dash to 18.1 MPG.  My JK has the 3.8 with a RIPP supercharger along with a 4.5 lift, 37” tall by 12.50 wide BFG Mud Terrains, an AEV bumper with a Warn winch and an ARB rear bumper.  You would think that my mileage would only be around 10-14 MPG’s with all the weight and big tires, so I’m letting everyone know that the RIPP supercharger with the “black box” has made my Jeep not only more fun to drive, but its increased my fuel mileage higher than what Jeep’s EPA ratings for a stock Rubicon is!  My jeep is a stick shift and 80% of the trip was highway driving at 65-70 MPH”

Now you can increase your horsepower and reduce your carbon footprint at the same time!

Farmers Fair Mud Bog 2008

Posted on August 4th, 2008

This year proved to be one of the most challenging mud bogs weve had yet! Many trucks fell victim of the mud this year.  There were a few broken driveshafts as well as a roll over! The good news is that everyone was ok and everyone had a blast! We’d like to thank Warren County Fair Grounds, H&K and Sons, all the drivers, and everyone that came out to watch. We hope to see everyone next year!

This years truck pull, sponsored by Warren County Farmer’s Fair Ground Association, OK Auto 4WD & Tire, and H&K and Sons, was a blast! We would like to thank everyone that came out to watch and those who competed!  There were a ton of drivers that came out this year for the money and more importantly, the bragging rights.  There were a lot of nice pulls this year.  Many drivers just fell short of taking victory while some trucks managed to fall apart. Check out who won, who lost and who didn’t finish at all!

Chevy Duramax Vegetable Oil Conversion

Posted on July 29th, 2008

Are you looking for a way to escape the high price of diesel fuel without selling your beloved vehicle? Perhaps you’re trying to go green.  Whatever it is, we found the answer.  We just got done converting a Chevy Duramax to run off vegetable oil in addition to diesel fuel.  The system we installed, which was from Golden Fuel Systems, filters the vegetable oil while your vehicle runs. We are currently evaluating the Chevy Duramax conversion.  If the system proves itself to be as reliable as they claim, we plan to offer the conversion sometime in August.
