Grand Re-Opening was a great success!

Posted on May 10th, 2007

Our Grand Re-Opening on May 5th was a great success thanks to everyone who had participated! Without you, the phenomenal growth and expansion of OK Auto, 4wd & Tire would not have been possible. We would also also like to thank our sponsors who attended the event and supported us during this transition - Skyjacker, BDS, Cage, ARB, Eibach, Hella, Volant, Bestop, Westin, AEV, and Solid. Our newly renovated store was full of people at all times, and many others were milling around looking at the vehicles and checking out what our vendors had to offer. The new and improved Rock Pile was the biggest hit as one vehicle after another clawed its way over the top - everything from a near-stock Jeep to a GMC panel van! Our photo album is now online. Thanks again for being part of our history, and we hope to see everyone again soon!

Introducing our new Rock Pile

Posted on March 19th, 2007

Our recent renovations gave us the opportunity to build-up our Rock Pile with some of the earth that was removed from our building foundation. As you may know, our Rock Pile is a drivable course for people to test the capabilites of their four-wheel drive vehicles during our events or under employee supervision. Over the years, the Rock Pile has become easier as vehicles have become more extreme, and drivers more experienced. We responded by building our Rock Pile vertically, and with multiple lines of varying difficulty. Whether you drive a stock SUV, or a tricked out competition buggy, can you conquer the Rock Pile? You’ll have your chance to find out at our Grand Reopening on Saturday, May 5th, 2007.

Save Paragon Adventure Park!

Posted on February 8th, 2007

As many of you may know, Paragon Adventure Park, the most popular off-road park on the east coast, is in danger of being closed permanently. Basically, the situation is this - Kyle and Stephanie Knosp, who own and operate Paragon Adventure Park, have a 25 year lease on the property, and the landholder is attempting to terminate the lease so that a billion dollar cargo airport can be built on the site. A heated legal battle is underway. More information can be found on saveparagon.com, and in the Times Leader (search for “paragon"), a regional news publication. Show your support for the Knosp family and Paragon Adventure Park!
