A word from Pit Bull Tires

Posted on January 4th, 2007

2007 is going to be an exciting year for Pit Bull Tires. We are launching some new product lines and we are expanding our advertising efforts and increasing our motorsports’ sponsorships. Last year our Class 8 SNORE (desert racing) team placed first using our 37x13.50R17 Rocker Tires ... IN THE DESERT!!! This year we are taking on the Baja 1000 with our Rocker tires. The Rockers are not just for rock crawling or trail riding. We’ve seen excellent results in any and all applications. In 2006 we had teams running in CORR, SNORE, WERock, UROC, ProRock, Neuroc, MoRoc, NMRO, XRRA, NTPA, DHRA and the ATPA. Even though our teams did not place 1st in every sport, all of our teams placed much higher than they’ve ever placed before ... and all of them attribute that success to Pit Bull Tires. As for new products, our 37x1350-20LT Rocker tire is now in our warehouse and ready for shipping. Also, in case you were not aware, we offer a 16.5” rim in every current tire size and design that we manufacture.

Superwinch EP Series 9,000lb Winches

Posted on December 5th, 2006

We give the EP series of Superwinch winches our OK4WD seal of approval, so if you’re in the market for a new winch, you don’t want to overlook these! The performance and specifications of these Superwinch winches are nearly identical to their Warn counterparts, the Warn X9000 and XD9000i. However, the amp draw of the Superwinch models is up to 50% less than the Warn at 0lbs of load, and 25% less at the full 9,000lbs of load - making these winches relatively easy on your vehicle’s electrical system. The Superwinch EP series winches also include a pulley block, and cost considerably less than the competition.

Our building renovations continue!

Posted on December 4th, 2006

If you’ve been to our store recently, you might have noticed that we’ve begun our major building renovations, and the new addition is taking shape. Now you can really get a good idea of the large amount of square footage that is being added and we’re excited to see it completed. We think you’ll really like the forthcoming changes too!  An online photo album has been created to show the progress each week, and the album also contains architectural renderings of the completed renovations. After the holiday season, we will be moving most of our operations to the new addition while the other portions of the building undergo renovations. Our facility will remain open during this time, with ample parking, so please swing by to take a look!
