OK Auto, 4wd & Tire was started back in 1979 after owner Jim Oostdyk rolled his '61 Jeep CJ-5. Working out of a two-bay gas station called Jim's Getty, Jim began rebuilding his CJ-5. When it was finished, other people wanted to have their four-wheel drive vehicles modified, and as a result OK 4x4 Shop was started. In 1985 the name was changed to OK Auto, 4wd & Tire to show that the business serviced cars and sold tires.

Thanks to phenomenal growth, we moved into a new building at our current location in 1988. Only a few years later, we built an addition that provided a significant increase in square footage. Then in 2007, we completed another major renovation to our building with an updated look and increased size of all departments!
